Provocations @ SloMoCo 2021

The Provocations track at SloMoCo 2021 is an invitation for critical discourse on the aesthetic and ethical dimensions of movement analysis and representation across disciplines. Building on the MOCO Provocations Project of 2018 and 2019, Teoma Naccarato, Jessica Rajko, and John MacCallum will facilitate a series of informal, virtual encounters to reinvest in dialogues initiated at MOCO in past years, and further, work collectively within the MOCO community to devise the next call for provocations. The goal of this ongoing initiative is to create space for generative exchange regarding novel and systemic conditions that affect cross-disciplinary and collaborative practices at the intersection of movement and computing.
